Redruth’s Oldest Church

St Euny is the historic parish church of Redruth. Christian worship probably began here in about 600 AD – the ‘Age of the Saints’ in Cornwall. Redruth is associated with St Euny or Uny, there are many legends of St Euny but nothing is really known of him.

There have been four or five quite different church buildings here; each has left subtle signs behind. Each generation has rebuilt, restored and repaired, building literally on earlier foundations.

We welcome visitors. Please spend some time discovering our church and grounds.
